You can use a string, a sewing measuring tape, a pliable piece of yarn, or wire by placing it around your neck and letting it sit where you want the chain to lay. Take a ruler and measure that string to determine the desired length of the chain.

1- Take a piece of non-stretchable string. Wrap it comfortably around your ring finger, close to the knuckle.	2- With a pen, mark where the string meets. For the best accuracy, make the smallest marks possible.	3- With a ruler, measure it in either in millimeters or inches.

1- Cut a thin strip of paper. Wrap it TIGHT around your finger. Make it tight or you will get a bigger size than needed.	2- With a pen, mark where the paper meets. For the best accuracy, make the smallest marks possible.	3- With a ruler, measure it in either in millimeters or inches.
